Tim Sales Mlm Training Why You Need To Have More Than Loyal Customers

Submitted by: Tim Sales

One of the biggest attractions that network marketing holds for people is the opportunity to make a great living and gain financial independence. It is not surprising, therefore, that one of the most common questions asked by active MLM distributors in the field is, Why are people not making a lot more money?

Some may say that the products are too expensive, others that they do not receive the right level of support or training from their MLM Company. For others it may be more personal in that they could focus more or be more productive. In truth, it could be any of these or even a combination of a whole lot of different reasons.

However, in general, I cannot say why people are not making more money with their network marketing business. If it was possible, I could certainly take each individual person and work with them over a period of time and be able to identify what it is that s stopping that one person…but there aren t enough hours in the day.

That being said, there are network marketers the world over making a great deal of money. I mean serious life changing income.

One very important facet to creating this wealth is a base of loyal customers. It s absolutely critical to the success of the whole network marketing industry and to your personal success in network marketing. But, you need to have more than loyal customers to make more money.

I know of trainers and uplines who agree with me wholeheartedly on this point, yet they have kind of taken it the extreme and push distributors to get nothing but customers. Sometimes it s so extreme that they cause people to feel it s almost wrong to sponsor people. This approach is absolutely and totally wrong. So, let s clarify this now. Let s be clear on what it takes to make more money with your MLM business.

I don t believe that you have to have lots and lots of customers. If you keep a good solid base of around 20 loyal customers, they will serve you well. I can understand that if we were discussing direct sales where you are selling something directly to the customer, then you would be totally focused on getting as many customers as you possibly could. But, you are not in direct sales.

In network marketing, if you do nothing but get customers, you re being very inefficient and not really focused on building your MLM business. Compensation plans in network marketing are built in such a way that the majority of the money that is available to you is in the depth of an organization when it matures. This is where and how you make the serious money regardless of the system or compensation plan use within your MLM organization.

So, yes it is most important that you know how to get and keep your 20 loyal customers. These customers will buy from you repeatedly and for years bringing you a steady income flow but there is a bigger reason why you need to build this base. If you don t build this base of customers, how you will be able to teach your downline how to get customers if you yourself can t get any? Build your base of customers. That gives you experience and a working knowledge of how to get customers. Along with the right training and support, you learn how to be more effective, you strengthen your skills and expertise. Now you are equipped to train each person you bring in the business and guide them as to how they each build their base of loyal customers.

Then, through ongoing training and support, you make sure that they can train the people they bring in how to get customers.

This is how the really money makers in your network marketing sector are making more money. They repeat a process that works over and over again. It s very inefficient, once you get 20 customers, to keep getting more customers. You will be far more successful, you will reach a whole lot more people with your product, if you train other people how to emulate this simple money making process.

That s why you need more than loyal customers to build a highly successful MLM business and become one of those who make a great deal of money in the network marketing industry.
